Our well known beverage client is looking to bring on a remote, Community Manager in a contract W2 role ASAP:

 

This is a fully remote role and will work East Coast hours. 

The client prefers someone in the tristate area who could commute into NYC to join for important meetings every once in a while.

They are looking for someone with an agency/publishing background and passion for culture, music, or sports in this role. 

The brands this role will work on will do lots of live music events, so previous experience supporting live events is highly preferred.

Job Description:

Our client’s Content Studio blends diverse creative and cultural perspective with their brand know- how, to help our brands push boundaries and tell stories that move culture. Our creative focus is social and content innovation for North America beverage brands.

 

We are looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech- savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.

 

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring and maintenance of all brand social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) and fan channels (Reddit, Discord); upkeep of other social related accounts

  • Exemplify the brand voice and tone in all community interactions

  •  Proactively flag opportunities for the brand and escalate issues as needed in a timely matter

  • Write copy for paid social media and execute paid social media requests when applicable

  • Maintain an accurate and current content calendar by tracking and scheduling all approved content

  • Assist CM Lead with consulting on sweepstakes, execute sweepstakes winner outreach

  • Monitor social media trends and develop strategies to tailor them to our brands to help expand our social media presence

  • Assist CM Lead with setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies

  • Assist with brainstorms with creative and strategy teams to increase engagement and develop platform-forward content and campaigns

  • Additional Day-to-day tasks consist of working with a cross-functional group with the Content Studio Social Media Team across strategic planning, creative development, trafficking, optimization, reporting and analysis

  • Coordinate with creative and strategy teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Diligently follow social media product updates and offerings and serve as the definitive

  • expert in the space

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology & social media trends

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working in Social Media, either on the agency, publisher or brand side with an ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of major Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat).

  • Strong understanding of how all social platforms work – including emerging platforms

  • Strong copywriting skills and understanding of consumer behavior and platform language nuances to support creative development

  • Proficient quantitative skills, including understanding of Facebook insights, Twitter

  • Analytics, and experience with third party analytics vendors

  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.82 to $40.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
